Today we would like to introduce a project we refer to as an Astor slatted awning installation.
Have a look at the two scrolling photos to the left. As you can see, they are installed on a mobile home in Astor, Florida. One advantage to these new slatted awnings is that when you are inside your home looking out, you can see through them, hence the name, “see views”.
These slatted awnings add an appealing look to the home and provide appropriate amounts of shade to the home. If you are only looking for shade, then this is the way to go. These awnings cannot really be put down during a storm and do not serve as any type of protection to your windows other than shade.
These slatted awnings have really seemed to be a big hit lately. The main attraction seems to be the low cost, since they are considerably less than contemporary clamshell aluminum awnings.
Since we have to assemble these slatted awnings on site, they take a little longer to install than traditional clamshell aluminum awnings. The cost is lower on these slatted awnings and they are limited to 4 colors: white, ivory, brown and black.
