A recent project for an Orlando Florida homeowner involved removal and replacement of a dozen aluminum awnings over 30 years old.

This second photo shows the replacement awnings project completed and ready for the homeowner to enjoy their new custom awnings.
The customer wanted to spruce up the home, and the “old” awnings had a long useful life because they performed annual maintenance.
Our advice is clean your awnings with bleach and water top and bottom each year, and spray all moving parts with a silicone spray.
*Note: The silicone spray provides maximum lubrication, so from our experience and expertise we do NOT recommend using WD-40.
