This double wide carport project was a custom add-on to a prefabricated garage in Cocoa Florida with minimal posts in the design.
The design accommodates multiple cars with just 4 structural 4″ x 4″ post uprights that will not interfere with opening car doors.
The photo above shows stage 2 of construction including the 3″ insulated roof of the double wide carport that measures 15′ x 22′.
Finally, the photo below is the completed carport project including the custom roof to ground black trim and matching black gutter.
