Kissimmee Carport to Storage Shed Conversion

kissimmee shedThank you for visiting the Haggetts Aluminum blog and website. We are pleased to provide our website visitors with aluminum related news, tips and advice. Today we would like our online readers to review an aluminum storage shed project in Kissimmee that was recently completed for another happy customer here in Central Florida.

Sometimes you may want to convert one aluminum product into another one to fill a purpose. This is exactly what we did for this Central Florida customer. We had installed a carport for them a couple years ago, and they decided they would like to convert it into a storage shed for a workshop, and this was the ideal setup for them.

We had already installed the roof a few years ago and created this storage shed area by adding wood beams, installing insulation then finally covering the rest with aluminum and installing a large double door for easy access bringing in large objects. The shed itself was all wood framed covered with plywood then we put vinyl siding on it to match what was on the home.

This client recently purchased the home and wanted to have this workshop insulated in order to retain the heat in the winter and keep cool in the summer. This 12′ x 13′ aluminum shed is an inexpensive way to gain a large storage area build beneath an existing carport.

Special Note: Effective March 1, 2018 we purchased a building and relocated all sales, production, and operations to Cocoa Florida in Brevard County on the Atlantic coast of Florida. We no longer offer new sales to the Kissimmee area.

At Haggetts Aluminum, we are always ready to tackle your aluminum projects here in the Central Florida. Contact us today to discuss your next aluminum project, or bookmark our website and refer us to friends and family. Come back soon!

Downtown Kissimmee Carport Project

Downtown Kissimmee Carport Project
Welcome to the Haggetts Aluminum blog and website and thank you for visiting. We like to keep our online visitors informed on news, tips and advice concerning aluminum projects here in Central Florida and the Orlando area.

Today we would like to introduce a recent job we refer to as the Downtown Kissimmee Carport Project.

The images to the left portray a recent freestanding carport we just finished in downtown Kissimmee stands 12 feet high. At 15’x16′, this structure is held up with solid 4″ x 4″ square aluminum posts that are anchored 2 feet into the ground. The roof panels we used are standard 3″ risers.

This particular carport was built at a tire shop over the car lift so workers could have shade and keep the rain off of them while working. The objective was to build the carport at a height as to not interfere with vehicles lifted up in the air.

Special Note: Effective March 1, 2018 we purchased a building and relocated all sales, production, and operations to Cocoa Florida in Brevard County on the Atlantic coast of Florida. We no longer offer new sales to the Kissimmee area.

At Haggetts Aluminum, we can install a variety of aluminum products to your business, home or mobile home. We manufacture and install screen rooms, storage sheds, aluminum awnings, roofing, aluminum railings, carports and so much more in Cocoa Florida in Brevard County or other Atlantic coastal county cities of Central Florida.

Odd-Sized Doors and Windows

haggetts aluminum 2014 projects
Welcome to the Haggetts Aluminum blog and website. We like to provide our website visitors with news, tips and advice about aluminum products in Cocoa Florida in Brevard County or other Atlantic coastal county cities of Central Florida from screen rooms to carports to storage sheds, awnings and roofs. Today we would like to explain a bit about odd-sized doors and windows.

Haggetts Aluminum can accommodate for a custom size for an odd-size door and window. We custom design your awning length and width for proper coverage of odd-size requirements.

Odd sized windows may present a problem for some clamshell aluminum awning manufacturers and installers. We on the other hand, can handle the challenge of manufacturing and installing aluminum awnings for oddly shaped windows.

Being we manufacture what we sell we have the advantage of producing custom orders, including unconventional sizes and shapes.

In order to properly measure for sizing your custom clamshell aluminum awnings, we measure the length and width of your window, including the window trim. Technically, the awning size should be a bit wider than the actual window size to block any sunlight from different angles.

In addition, we build and install aluminum screen rooms, carports, carport covers, and aluminum storage sheds. Contact us today for an estimate here in the Central Florida area, and bookmark our blog and website for news, tips and advice in the world of Haggetts Aluminum.

St Cloud Large Awning Project

St Cloud Large Awning Project Welcome to the Haggetts Aluminum blog and website and thank you for visiting. We like to keep our online visitors informed on news, tips and advice concerning aluminum projects here in Central Florida and the Orlando area.

Today we would like to introduce a recent job we refer to as a St Cloud large awning project, as shown in these images to the left.

Here is a large 10′ x 10′ awning installed on a home in St Cloud. This customer is actually using the awning as a patio cover. She liked the look better with an awning rather than have us build her a roof to cover the patio. This shows the diversity of our Haggetts Aluminum awnings we manufacture at our warehouse.

We set up this large aluminum awning as a permanent structure using a 2″ x 2″ aluminum posts anchored to the concrete slab holding it up. We installed it up over her garage roof to keep out as much weather as possible.

Special Note: Effective March 1, 2018 we purchased a building and relocated all sales, production, and operations to Cocoa Florida in Brevard County on the Atlantic coast of Florida. We no longer offer sales or service to the St Cloud area.

We like to keep our website visitors current on news, tips and advice concerning aluminum products here in the Orlando and Central Florida areas. Today we would like to introduce this Leesburg aluminum awning project that we recently completed for another happy Florida customer.

The awnings were installed on this old Leesburg, Florida home that was built in the early 1900’s. The customer was going more for the old look than anything else on this specific project. We made the awnings big enough to be put down for good protection during a big storm.
