Unique Mobile Home Awning Project

This unique mobile home awning project includes clam shell aluminum awnings for windows, plus a fixed awning deck shade solution.

The Cocoa Florida project has two window awnings that can be closed in a storm, and a permanent deck awning on posts like a roof.

Our second photo shows a closeup of the custom 2 and 3 window awnings, plus the deck awning mounted on 4 fixed posts for the “roof”.

The customer wanted shade on the deck, so the fixed awning was a more cost effective solution compared to an insulated panel roof.

Custom Carport Expansion Project

A recent Florida customer’s custom carport expansion project is another example of a unique challenge that Haggetts Aluminum solved.

The customer’s carport matched the full length of their home, but the design was too narrow to easily get in or out of the vehicle.

The photo above shows the framing of the custom carport extension from the home towards the road in preparation for adding the roof.

To solve the problem we extended the carport out from the front of the home with 16′ aluminum roof pans as shown in the photo above.

As a result, the custom carport expansion project that we designed and installed succeeded in satisfying the customer’s requirements.

Hurricane Rated Roll Up Shutters

The recent project for a lanai or patio as shown here shows one partially closed shutter plus two openings that are fully rolled up.

This is a very cost effective solution compared to more expensive hurricane glass to protect your windows, doors, or patio area.

The all aluminum shutters can be quickly closed, and they lock to provide a safe place for outdoor things during a severe storm.

Screened Portico Home Addition

This recent project is a screened portico home addition custom designed and built at the entrance of this Central Florida home.

Unlike a typical open portico with just a roof and columns, ours is more like a mini-screenroom that solves a drainage problem.

When it rained the owner would get soaked from water draining off the garage and home when they enter or exit the main entrance.

Our custom solution is a roof and gutter system, and with that screen door the owner can leave the main door open in good weather.

Gazebo Awning Addon Project

Here’s another creative solution from Haggetts Aluminum featuring a custom gazebo awning addon project for a Cocoa Florida customer.

This first photo shows the before look of the customer’s gazebo which they previously built as an open air outdoor place to relax.

Our custom designed aluminum awnings shown above were added to the gazebo to provide more shade and some protection on rainy days.

As a result, the custom gazebo awnings offer our customer more comfort to enjoy being outdoors during a wider variety of weather.

Haggetts Factory Building Makeover

We completed a Haggetts factory building makeover during the COVID-19 pandemic, plus we had previously added new service vehicles.

The facelift includes a new roof, paint job, and new siding on the upper part of walls, plus a new electric insulated garage door.

The most recent service vehicle is the white one shown above, and prior to that we upgraded our fleet with a new red pickup truck.

These 3 Merritt Island bahama awnings were custom built to cover different window heights so that the installation looked uniform.

The project involved a single 2 panel awning (far left) and two more 1 panel awnings. All 3 were custom built with the same length.

One advantage of bahama awnings is angled slats that provide shade, yet the homeowner has a clear view of the property outdoors.
