This poolside insulated patio roof project provided a home and patio shade solution for this customer in Port Canaveral, Florida.

The heat outside and sun exposure to the home interior was a problem without any form of shade around the pool or back of the home.

Our solution custom insulated patio roof provided shade for the patio plus the sliding door and windows at the back of the home.

As a result, the family could enjoy staying outdoors for longer periods of time without worrying about excessive sun exposure.

Merritt Island Screen Room Addition

Merritt Island Bahama Awnings Project

The 3 awnings in this recent Merrit Island Bahama awnings project are examples of custom width 3 panel and 4 panel wide awnings.

The awning length allows complete coverage to provide protection in severe weather by fully closing each panel flush to the wall.

The slat design provides a clear view of the outside of the property yet ensures a degree of privacy from persons in the area.

Mobile Home Carport Roof Replacement

This mobile home carport roof replacement solved a Central Florida customer’s problem of leaking water caused by poor design.

The original roof had to be taken completely apart because the original installation did not have proper pitch for draining.

The carport roof leaked every time it rained! We replaced their pan roof with insulated panels normally used on screen rooms.

The replacement roof was installed at a steeper angle by lowering everything 3″ and solving their problem with better run off.

Clamshell Awnings Mounted on Posts

As requested by a Florida customer, here’s a very unique custom aluminum awning design with clamshell awnings mounted on posts.

Each of the awnings are attached to the building and two forward posts to provide shade for a cement slab and sliding glass doors.

Unlike window awnings, these are semi-permanent at a fixed angle until the posts are removed and bolted down for severe weather.

The 2×2 aluminum posts are connected to the clamshell awning and slab with removable bolts to lockdown the awning if ever needed.

Multiple Seeview Awnings Install

Carport and Storage Shed Addition

A recent Merritt Island manufactured home upgrade project involved a Haggetts custom designed carport and storage shed addition.

This first photograph shows the early phase of construction with the carport and roof being framed prior to adding the storage shed.

The 13’x42′ carport was designed with 3″ roof pans to reduce cost, and then we built the 6’x8′ wood framed shed under the carport roof.

In the finished photo above the carport and shed are finished for the park owners of this new home, and customized to their needs.
