Fort Myers Extra Large Awning Project

Welcome back to Haggetts Aluminum blog and website. We like to keep our customers up to date with our latest projects. These large aluminum awnings in Fort Myers were produced at our warehouse, delivered on site, and installed for our customer.

We delivered these awnings to one of my regular contractor’s job site since the he had no way to transport something so large. The largest awning on this job was 21 foot x 9 foot and were installed on a manufactured home in a park in Fort Myers.

The largest awning was being set up as a permanent awning to be used as a carport, and the others were going over windows. We can accommodate any size awnings up to about 23 feet by 10 feet, because anything larger would have to be moved by the customer.

Special Note: As of March 1, 2018 we relocated our factory operations to Cocoa Florida and no longer service Fort Meyers or the west coast of Florida.

Davenport Mobile Home Screen Room

Happy New Year and welcome back to the Haggetts Aluminum blog and website. We like to provide our readers with news, tips and advice concerning aluminum products in Cocoa Florida in Brevard County or other Atlantic coastal county cities of Central Florida.

Update Note: As of March 1, 2018 we purchased a building and relocated sales, awning production, and all operations to Cocoa Florida. We no longer service Davenport or Polk County.

These products we install include screen rooms, railings, clamshell aluminum awnings, car ports, aluminum storage sheds and hurricane shutters. Today we would like to introduce our most recent project, a Davenport, Florida mobile home screen room installation.

This screen room was built in a mobile home park in Davenport, Florida. The size of this screen room is 12 feet square and took about 3 days to build. This enclosure has 2 doors and a 3 inch insulated roof with all aluminum construction. There was a good amount of custom work performed on this screen room.

This project was somewhat unique due to the situation of which it was located, having been built on an existing raised wooden deck into the corner of the home.

We provide custom work when suggested. This owner wanted a gabled roof on the top, and that’s exactly what he got. The project came out nice and our customer was very pleased with the results.

Cocoa Mobile Home Clamshell Aluminum Awnings

Welcome back to the Haggetts Aluminum blog and website. We like to offer our readers aluminum related news here in the Orlando and Central Florida area. Today we’d like to introduce a recently completed project in Cocoa, Florida.

For this mobile home at the left, the owner was looking for shade and storm protection. We attached these clamshell aluminum awnings to every window of this mobile home in Cocoa, Florida. At some points we had to get on the carport roof to install these awnings.

These 10 clamshell aluminum awnings are dark green with tan stripes and took about 4 hours to install. Each awning was individually measured to cover the openings completely when fastened down for storm purposes. We put one awning over almost every opening.

St Cloud Carport Project

Thank you for visiting our Haggetts Aluminum blog and website. To the left is another recent project we have completed for another happy customer.

This photo to the left is a free-standing carport we built in the city limits of St. Cloud, Florida. This all white aluminum carport was 22 feet by 24 feet, or approximately the size of a two car garage. The roof was a 3 inch aluminum pan roof and the upright posts are very sturdy 3 inch by 3 inch. The intent of this carport was to fit two vehicles beneath it.

Special Note: As of 2018 we bought a building in Cocoa Florida and will no longer service the St Cloud area.

This project took 2 days to build, and should be able to withstand winds of up to 130 miles per hour. We are happy to say that another Haggetts Aluminum customer is pleased with a job well done!

Bahama Aluminum Awnings

Welcome back to the Haggetts Aluminum blog and website. We are always innovating and creating here at Haggetts Aluminum. Today we would like to introduce what is known as Bahama aluminum awnings.

We are now offering this type of awning to the left which is very attractive and popular along the coast lines. These Bahama aluminum awnings are on condos in Celebration, Florida and can be made larger so you can close them over openings.

These all white aluminum awnings are replacing wooden ones that were falling apart. Though they are not particularly for storm protection and are mostly for shade and looks, these sturdy Bahama aluminum awnings should last for quite a long time.

St Cloud Duplex Clamshell Aluminum Awnings

Welcome to the Haggetts Aluminum blog and website! We provide our online visitors with aluminum related news, tips and advice. To the left is a clamshell aluminum awning project we completed on a duplex in St Cloud, Florida.

These clamshell aluminum awnings took about 6 hours to build and approximately 3 hours to install. As you can see, they are all black and white with a uniform look. On the back of the home we also installed 2 of these aluminum awnings for a great look.

These clamshell aluminum awnings were basically for shade, and as you can see, they only cover about half of the window. The property owner’s intent was to help the tenants reduce their electric costs by shading the windows.

The homeowner was also concerned whether the awnings would stick out too far when they were opened, and we were able to cater to their needs in this situation too.
